How much does a move cost?
It depends on the size of the load, the distance, and how much lifting is involved, which is why we quote every job individually instead of hiding behind a vague hourly rate. Send us the details through the quote form or call, and you'll get a clear, all-in number back, usually the same day. Quotes are always free with no obligation, and first-time customers get 10% off that number.
How far in advance should I book?
For a full move, a week or two is comfortable, and end-of-month weekends fill up first. For single items and small loads we can often do same-day or next-day. It never hurts to ask.
Can you come today?
Often, yes. Same-day work is a real part of what we do. Call or text 317-702-2176 rather than using the form and we'll tell you what's still open.

Do you bring blankets and equipment?
Always. Moving blankets, shrink wrap, straps, dollies, floor runners and door protection come standard. They're not an add-on line item.
Do I need to pack before you arrive?
For a standard move, yes. Boxes should be packed and sealed so we can load efficiently. We handle all the furniture wrapping and disassembly. If you'd rather we packed too, ask and we'll price it in.
Will you take doors off or disassemble furniture?
Yes. Bed frames, table legs, and the occasional door off its hinges are all normal. We bring tools and we put everything back together.
What if it takes longer than expected?
We finish the job. If something is genuinely bigger than what was described when we quoted it, we'll tell you before we keep going, not after.
Can you move a piano, safe or hot tub?
Yes. Send photos and measurements so we can plan the route and bring the right equipment. These are the jobs a lot of companies turn down, and they're the ones we're set up for.

Do I have to carry anything to the curb?
No. Leave it where it is. Carrying it out is the service. Garages, basements, attics, upstairs rooms, all of it.
How is junk removal priced?
By how much space your load takes up in the truck, quoted before we start. A couple of items costs a couple of items' worth.
Is there anything you won't haul?
A few things are regulated — paint, solvents, motor oil, fuel, propane tanks, asbestos, medical waste and ammunition have to be routed to a licensed facility rather than riding on the truck with everything else. Tell us what you've got and we'll work out how to get it handled.
What happens to my stuff?
Anything usable we try to donate. Metal and appliances go to recycling. The rest goes to a licensed disposal facility.
Do I need to be home?
Not always. For garages, driveways, storage units and rental turnovers we can usually work from photos and arranged access. Landlords and realtors book us this way all the time.
Distance & scheduling
Distance & scheduling
How far will you actually go?
As far as the job needs. There's no radius. The same crew loads it, drives it and unloads it, so nobody hands your things off along the way.
Do you work weekends?
Seven days a week, weekends included. Evening and after-hours slots are available for office and commercial jobs so you don't lose a business day.
What if the weather is bad?
We work through most of it; that's Indiana. If conditions are genuinely unsafe for your things or our crew, we'll call you early and reschedule.
How does the 10% first-time discount work?
If it's your first job with Anyplace Movers, 10% comes off your quote. Every service qualifies — local moves, Airbnb staging and junk removal. Just mention it when you book, or leave the box ticked on the quote form.
